Why is Bronze free?
We want every Ugandan business to have a digital presence. Bronze gives you a real marketplace listing with no barriers — you can list products, receive inquiries, and be discoverable by customers. We make money when you grow, not before.
What happens when my Silver subscription expires?
Your public storefront goes offline (customers visiting muafay.ug/store/yourname see an inactive page). Your marketplace listing, products, and settings are preserved — nothing is deleted. Renew at any time to reactivate your store instantly.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes. Upgrade takes effect immediately. Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then.
Which payment methods are supported?
We accept MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money (via IoTec Pay), and bank transfer. Card payments are coming soon. All transactions are processed securely in Ugandan Shillings.
What's the minimum commitment for Silver?
The entry point is 2 months for UGX 30,000 (UGX 15,000/month). We offer longer billing cycles at a discount — the annual plan at UGX 150,000 saves you UGX 30,000 compared to paying the 2-month rate across a full year.
What does Gold's custom domain include?
We provision a full SSL certificate for your domain and handle all HTTPS routing. You add a single CNAME record at your registrar; we do everything else. Domains from GoDaddy, Namecheap, or any registrar are supported.
How do refunds work?
If you experience a technical issue preventing store activation within 48 hours of payment, contact us for a full refund. We do not offer refunds for change of mind after the store has been activated. Partial-period refunds are not available.
Can I get a free upgrade?
Yes — partner organisations (NGOs, cooperatives, associations) can apply for a sponsored or discounted plan. Reach out to us at support@muafay.ug or via WhatsApp and we'll review your application.
